I have spent most of my almost 30-year career at the Garvan Instituteworking on the epidemiology and genetics of osteoporosis, a field of research that I have made substantive contributions. The primary focus of my research program is on the discovery & translation of etiological & genetic factors that determine an individual"s risk of fracture & adverse outcomes. I pursue both epidemiological và genetic research, often combining the two, to address issues that are transformational, shaping policy và practice leading to lớn better treatment & control of osteoporosis.

Welcome khổng lồ my website! I am a medical scientist who specializes in osteoporosis and bone-related diseases. My lifetime goal is to lớn discover etiologic factors, including genes & exposomic metabolites, that contribute to the development of osteoporosis,and then translate the discovery into prevention of fragility fracture. I pursue both clinical and genetic research, often combining the two, to address issues that are transformational & leading lớn better treatment và control of osteoporosis. I conduct my research at both UTS (Australia) and Vietnam.

My osteoporosis research group in nước australia and Vietnam is consisted of doctors, molecular scientists, & data scientists.

I currently hold 3 professorships in osteoporosis research (UNSW Sydney), predictive medicine (UTS Australia), and epidemiology (University of Notre Dame Australia). I also hold appointments as Distinguished Visiting Professor of Ton Duc Thang University (Vietnam), Honorary Professor of Hanoi University of Pharmacy (Vietnam), Honorary Professor of Danang University (Vietnam), và a number of other visiting professorships in Vietnam, vương quốc của nụ cười and Europe.

Ở Việt Nam, tôi được bổ nhiệm hay trao chức vụ Giáo sư xuất sắc của ĐH Tôn Đức Thắng, giáo sư Danh dự của ĐH Dược Hà Nội, cùng giáo sư thỉnh giảng ở một trong những đại học tập Âu châu và Á châu.

Tôi mang đến Úc vào năm 1982 như là 1 trong những ‘Thuyền Nhân’, và tôi có ghi lại đôi dòng về hành trình gian nan đó trong một cái cảnh báo ở phía trên (tiếng Việt) và tiếng Anh).
